How to do it

Stand with an underhand grip on the EZ bar. Raise the bar straight in front of you to shoulder height, keeping arms extended and core engaged. Lower slowly. Do not lean back or use momentum.

  1. 1Feel your front delts lifting the EZ bar upward with an underhand grip
  2. 2Keep your wrists neutral and arms straight but soft
  3. 3Engage your core to prevent swaying and maintain control

Common mistakes

  • Avoid swinging or using your back to lift
  • Don't raise above shoulder height; stop when bar is at shoulder level
  • Avoid locking your elbows; keep a slight bend
