How to do it
Anchor the TRX overhead and grip the handles with palms down, leaning back so your bodyweight loads the straps. Keep your arms nearly straight and raise the handles in an arc up to shoulder height, then lower under control.
- 1Front delts loading as you raise the handles to eye level
- 2Bodyweight tension pulling through your shoulders the whole rep
- 3A tall braced trunk with shoulders pulled down
Common mistakes
- Swinging the handles up with momentum
- Shrugging your traps or leaning back to cheat the lift
- Letting your elbows lock or bend sharply
Muscles worked
The ring front raise mainly works the front delts, with the upper abs, lower abs, and side delts assisting.
