How to do it
Stand inside the machine with your upper arms against the pads and grip the handles. Raise your arms out to the sides until they reach shoulder height, then lower under control.

- 3Constant resistance from the machine through the full range
Common mistakes
- Do not swing or use momentum to start the lift
- Do not shrug your shoulders toward your ears
- Do not raise the arms above shoulder height
