How to do it

Set a barbell in a landmine and stand holding the end with both hands at one shoulder. Press the bar up and across, then lower it under control to the opposite shoulder, alternating sides each rep. Keep your ribs down and core braced throughout.

  1. 1Feel your front and side delts drive the press across
  2. 2Let your triceps finish each press near the top
  3. 3Brace your core and glutes to keep your trunk stable

Common mistakes

  • Don't overarch your lower back or flare your ribs
  • Avoid twisting your hips as the bar travels across
  • Don't bounce the bar off your shoulder at the bottom
