How to do it
Stand beside a landmine bar with the end loaded. Grip the end of the bar with the near hand and, keeping a slight bend in your elbow, raise the bar out to the side up to shoulder height, then lower it under control.
- 1Feel your side delt do the work as you raise the bar
- 2Keep a slight bend in your elbow and lead with the elbow
- 3Stay tall and stable through your torso each rep
Common mistakes
- Don't swing your body or use momentum to lift
- Avoid shrugging your shoulder up toward your ear
- Don't raise above shoulder height; stop at parallel
