How to do it

Sit on a bench with your forearms resting on your thighs and an EZ bar held overhand, palms down, knuckles hanging past your knees. Extend your wrists to lift the backs of your hands up, then lower the bar slowly to a full stretch.

  1. 1The top of your forearms contracting as your wrists extend
  2. 2Your forearms pinned to your thighs with only your wrists moving
  3. 3A deep stretch as the bar lowers past your knees

Common mistakes

  • Lifting your forearms off your thighs to cheat the weight up
  • Rushing the reps instead of moving slowly
  • Letting the bar roll out of a fixed wrist position
