How to do it
Move into the stretch position slowly until you feel a gentle pull on the target muscle. Hold the stretch while breathing deeply, avoiding any bouncing or pain.
- 1Feel a gentle stretch along the top of your forearm as you flex your wrist downward
- 2Keep your elbow straight and shoulder relaxed while holding the stretch
- 3Breathe deeply and hold for several seconds to feel the muscle lengthen
Common mistakes
- Avoid overextending your wrist to the point of pain; ease into the stretch
