How to do it
Sit on a bench with your forearms resting on your thighs and the EZ bar held in both hands, palms up and wrists just past your knees. Curl the bar up using only your wrists, hold the peak briefly, then lower the bar slowly to a full stretch.
- 1Your forearm flexors working as the wrists curl the bar up
- 2A brief squeeze at the top of each rep
- 3A full stretch as you lower the bar under control
Common mistakes
- Using your elbows or shoulders to lift the bar
- Gripping so tightly it kills the wrist movement
- Rushing the reps instead of moving slowly
