How to do it
Stand holding a dumbbell in each hand at your sides. Raise both arms straight in front of you to shoulder height, lower them, then raise them out to the sides to shoulder height and lower again. Alternate front and lateral raises, keeping a slight bend in your elbows throughout.

Common mistakes
