How to do it
Sit upright on a bench with back support, holding a dumbbell in each hand at shoulder height. Press one dumbbell overhead until your arm is extended while the other stays racked, lower it under control, then press the opposite side, alternating each rep.

- 4Keep a clean overhead path with your wrist stacked over your elbow
Common mistakes
- Do not arch your lower back or let your ribs flare to press the weight
- Avoid leaning away from the pressing arm
- Do not let the elbow drift behind you at the bottom
