How to do it
Stand holding a barbell behind your back with an overhand grip, arms straight and the bar resting against the back of your thighs. Keeping your arms still, curl the bar up by extending your wrists. Lower the bar slowly back down by letting your wrists flex.

- 4Squeeze at the top and lower with control
Common mistakes
- Avoid using your shoulders or bending your elbows to lift
- Don't drop the bar quickly on the way down
- Don't let the bar swing away from your thighs
