My friend streak went back to zero

A friend streak breaks when one of you loses your own streak. That is the only thing that ends it.

It does not matter which of you it was. If either streak goes, the friend streak you share goes with it.

Nothing else resets it. Training on different days does not reset it, and neither does waiting for your friend to catch up.

Keeping your own streak alive is how you keep the friend streak alive.
