How to do it
Extend one arm in front with the palm facing down. Use your other hand to gently pull the fingers and back of the hand upward, stretching the underside of the forearm and wrist, then hold.
- 1Feel a stretch along the underside of the forearm
- 2Keep the elbow straight to lengthen the muscle fully
- 3Relax the fingers and let the hand open
Common mistakes
- Do not pull hard into pain; ease to mild tension
- Avoid bending the elbow to escape the stretch
- Do not let the shoulder creep up toward the ear
