How to do it

Sit or stand and loop a towel under both feet, holding an end in each hand with palms facing down. Curl your hands toward your shoulders against the resistance of your legs, keeping the pronated grip, then lower under control.

  1. 1Feel the top of your forearms and your biceps working together
  2. 2Keep your palms facing down and wrists firm throughout
  3. 3Press both legs down to set the resistance you want

Common mistakes

  • Avoid letting your wrists curl up out of the pronated grip
  • Don't swing your elbows forward or flare them out
  • Don't let the towel jerk back on the descent
