How to do it
Adjust the TRX straps to mid-length and stand facing away from the anchor point. Hold the handles with your palms facing down and extend your arms straight in front of you at shoulder height. Step forward to create tension and lean slightly forward. Keeping your upper arms stationary, bend at the elbows to lower your body, allowing the handles to come near your forehead. Straighten your arms by contracting your triceps to return to the starting position. Maintain a strong plank-like posture throughout.
- 1Face away from the anchor and lower your body by bending your elbows, feeling your triceps stretch
- 2Extend your elbows to press your body back up, squeezing your triceps at the end
- 3Keep your body in a straight line from head to heels with your core engaged
Common mistakes
- Don't let your hips sag or pike; maintain a solid plank
- Avoid flaring your elbows or dropping your shoulders toward your ears
- Don't use momentum, control the descent and ascent
