How to do it
Hinge forward at the hips with a flat back and let the weight hang at arm's length. Pull the weight toward your torso by squeezing your shoulder blades together. Lower the weight back to the starting position.
- 1Feel your lats and mid-back pulling your chest toward the straps
- 2Keep your body in a straight line and squeeze your shoulder blades together at the top
- 3Adjust your foot position to increase or decrease difficulty
Common mistakes
- Avoid shrugging your shoulders or flaring your elbows
- Don't let your hips sag; maintain plank alignment
- Avoid using momentum; control both phases
