How to do it

Make a tight fist with each hand and hold your forearms steady out in front of you. Slowly rotate your fists in circles at the wrist, going one direction for a set of reps then reversing. Keep the fists clenched and the forearms still so the movement comes only from the wrists.

  1. 1Forearm muscles working to clench the fist and rotate the wrist
  2. 2Wrists moving through full circles while the forearms stay still
  3. 3A steady burn building through the forearms as you rotate

Common mistakes

  • Don't move your elbows or shoulders; isolate the wrists
  • Avoid loosening the fist; keep it tight throughout
  • Don't rush the circles; keep them slow and controlled
