How to do it
Set TRX straps to a low or mid length and grip the handles with a wide, overhand grip. Walk your feet forward and lean back with your arms extended and body straight. Pull your chest up toward your hands by driving your elbows out and back, squeezing your shoulder blades, then lower under control.
- 1Feel your upper back and rear delts engage as you pull your chest up
- 2Keep your chest tall and core braced while squeezing your shoulder blades
- 3Control the descent through the full range and keep tension on the straps
Common mistakes
- Avoid shrugging or letting your shoulders round forward
- Do not jerk the straps or let your hips sag
- Avoid flaring your elbows higher than your shoulders
