How to do it
Anchor the TRX and stand facing sideways to it, gripping one handle with your elbow bent 90 degrees and tucked against your side. Lean away to load the strap, then rotate your forearm outward away from your body while keeping your elbow pinned to your waist. Return to the start with control as the strap resists the motion. Finish your reps, then turn around to train the other arm.
- 1Your rotator cuff working to rotate your forearm outward
- 2Your elbow staying tucked tight against your side
- 3A controlled, pain-free arc out and back
Common mistakes
- Letting your elbow drift away from your side
- Twisting your body to help move the strap
- Rushing through reps instead of controlling them
