How to do it
Stand tall with your arms extended in front or out to the sides, fists lightly closed. Slowly rotate your wrists in full circles, turning the hands through their complete range in one direction, then reverse. Keep the rest of your arm still so the motion stays at the wrist and forearm.
- 1Feel the rotation working through the wrist and forearm
- 2Keep your forearm still so only the wrist moves
- 3Take each circle through a full, smooth range
Common mistakes
- Avoid swinging your whole arm to make the circles
- Do not force the wrist past a comfortable range
- Avoid rushing; keep the rotations slow and controlled
Muscles worked
