How to do it

Sit in the hip adduction machine with the pads against the inside of your thighs and your legs spread to a comfortable stretch. Squeeze your knees together against the resistance, then let them open back out under control.

  2. 2A controlled stretch through the groin at the open position
  3. 3Your back and pelvis steady against the seat

Common mistakes

  • Do not slam your knees together or use momentum
  • Avoid opening into a range that pinches or strains the groin
  • Do not lift your hips off the seat to assist
