How to do it
Sit or stand in the rotary calf machine with the balls of your feet on the platform and your heels free. Press through the balls of your feet to raise your heels as high as possible, squeeze the calves at the top, then lower slowly into a deep stretch.

Common mistakes
- Bouncing out of the bottom stretch
- Cutting the range short at the top
