How to do it
Stand holding a kettlebell in each hand with an overhand grip, knuckles facing forward and arms hanging at your sides. Keeping your elbows close to your body, curl the bells up toward your shoulders, then lower them slowly back down. Keep your wrists firm and straight throughout.
- 1Feel your forearms and brachialis working as you curl with palms down
- 2Keep your elbows pinned to your sides and wrists locked straight
- 3Squeeze at the top and lower slowly to feel the eccentric
Common mistakes
- Do not swing the bells or use your shoulders to lift
- Avoid letting your wrists bend or roll under the load
- Do not lean back or let your elbows drift forward
