How to do it
Stand in a boxing stance with your lead hand forward. Snap two quick jabs with your lead hand, extending straight out and back to guard, then drive a right cross by rotating your hips and turning your back foot for power.
- 1The jabs snapping straight out and back from the shoulder
- 2Hip rotation loading the power behind the cross
- 3Your core bracing to transfer force from legs to fist
Common mistakes
- Winding up the jab instead of snapping it straight
- Forgetting to rotate the hips on the cross
- Dropping your guard between punches
