How to do it
Set up in a forearm or high plank with a straight line from head to heels. Holding the plank, lift and lower your fingers off the floor one section at a time while keeping your palms and wrists planted and your core braced.
- 1Forearm and finger flexors working as you raise the fingers
- 2Core staying tight and level through the plank
- 3Wrists and palms stable while the fingers move
Common mistakes
- Letting the hips sag or pike during the plank
- Shifting weight side to side as fingers lift
- Holding your breath instead of bracing steadily
Muscles worked
