How to do it
Hold your arms out in front of you and rapidly open and close your hands, spreading the fingers wide then clenching into a fist. Move quickly and continuously to build endurance and blood flow through the hands and forearms. Keep the wrists steady and let the fingers do the work.
- 1Forearm muscles working as you open and clench the hands
- 2A full spread of the fingers, then a firm squeeze into a fist
- 3A steady pump building through the hands and forearms
Common mistakes
- Don't let the wrists flop; keep them steady and neutral
- Avoid tensing the shoulders; keep the work in the hands
- Don't go so fast that the range of the fingers shrinks
Muscles worked
