How to do it
Set up in a plank gripping a dumbbell in each hand with feet wide. Row one dumbbell toward your hip, lower it, then step your hands and feet forward into a bear crawl before rowing the other side, traveling as you alternate rows.
- 1Feel your lats and upper back row while your core holds your hips level
- 2Keep your shoulders stacked over the dumbbells as you crawl forward
- 3Move one limb at a time so your trunk stays stable
Common mistakes
- Do not let your hips rock or sag as you row or crawl
- Avoid rushing the steps and losing your plank position
- Do not twist your torso to throw the weight up
