How to do it
Stand tall with one arm raised. Drive your fist downward across your body toward the opposite hip in a controlled punching motion, then return to the start. Keep your core braced and alternate arms each rep.
- 1Front and side delts driving the arm down
- 2Lats and core engaging as the fist crosses the body
- 3A braced trunk anchoring each punch
Common mistakes
- Throwing the arm with momentum and no control
- Twisting the lower back excessively
- Letting the shoulder shrug up at the top
