How to do it

Stand facing a low cable pulley holding the handle with an underhand grip, palms up. Keeping your forearms fixed, curl the handle up using only your wrists, then let it lower under control against the cable tension.

  1. 1Your forearm flexors working against constant cable tension
  2. 2Only your wrists moving while your forearms stay still
  3. 3A smooth squeeze at the top of each rep

Common mistakes

  • Letting your elbows bend or upper arms swing
  • Letting the cable snap your wrists back down
  • Standing too far from the pulley and losing tension at the bottom
