How to do it

Stand facing a low cable pulley and grab the handle with one hand, palm facing down. Keep your elbow pinned to your side and curl the handle toward your shoulder, then lower it under control.

  1. 1Tension across the top of your forearm and brachialis as you curl
  2. 2Your elbow staying locked against your side through the whole rep
  3. 3A slow, controlled lower that keeps the cable loaded

Common mistakes

  • Swinging the weight or driving with your shoulder
  • Letting your wrist bend or rotate out of a pronated grip
  • Leaning back or letting the elbow drift forward
