How to do it
Lie on your back holding a stability ball between your hands overhead, legs extended. Lift your torso and legs simultaneously into a V, passing the ball from your hands to between your feet, then lower and pass it back on the next rep.
- 1Feel your upper and lower abs fold to meet in the middle
- 2Keep your legs straight and reach through the ball
- 3Control both the lift and the lower under tension
Common mistakes
- Do not use momentum to swing up; lift with the abs
- Avoid letting the lower back arch off the floor
- Do not hold your breath; exhale as you fold
