How to do it
Adjust the TRX straps to mid-length. Stand facing away from the anchor point and hold the handles in front of your chest with your arms straight. Step forward and lean into the straps. Keeping your body in a straight line and elbows locked, allow your arms to extend overhead as you lean forward, feeling tension in your core and shoulders. Use your abs to pull your hands back down in front of you and return to the start. Keep the movement controlled and your body rigid.
- 1Feel your core, lats, and shoulders working as you extend your arms overhead
- 2Maintain a plank-like body line and engage your glutes and abs
- 3Move slowly and feel tension build as the straps angle downward
Common mistakes
- Avoid letting your lower back sag or hips drop
- Don't bend at the hips; keep your body straight throughout
- Avoid gripping too hard or shrugging your shoulders
Muscles worked
The trx fallout mainly works the upper abs and lower abs, with the obliques, forearms, lats, front delts, and hip flexors assisting.
