How to do it
Place both feet in the TRX foot cradles and set up in a push-up position with hands under your shoulders. Lower your chest by bending your elbows, press back up, then rotate to one side into a side plank with your top arm reaching toward the ceiling. Return and repeat, alternating sides.
- 1Feel your chest and triceps press you up out of the push-up
- 2Brace your obliques hard as you rotate into the side plank
- 3Keep your hips lifted and body in one line through the rotation
Common mistakes
- Do not let your hips sag during the push-up or the side plank
- Avoid flaring your elbows too wide at the bottom
- Do not rush the rotation; control the straps
