How to do it
Anchor the TRX overhead and face away from the anchor, holding both handles at chest height with arms extended and body leaned forward in a plank line. Press back to standing under control, then extend your arms overhead into a rollout, letting your body fall forward while your core resists, and pull back to the press position.
- 1Chest and triceps driving the press as you push away from the anchor
- 2Core bracing hard to control the overhead rollout
- 3Shoulder blades set down and back through both phases
Common mistakes
- Letting your hips sag or your low back arch during the rollout
- Shrugging your shoulders up toward your ears
- Rushing the rollout instead of resisting it on the way out
