How to do it
Grip the suspension trainer handles and lean forward into a plank with arms extended in front of your chest and your body in a straight line. Bend your elbows to lower your chest toward your hands, then press back to full extension. Adjust your foot position to make it harder or easier.
- 1Your chest and triceps pressing you back to extension
- 2A braced core holding a straight line head to heels
- 3Your shoulder blades set and steady against the straps
Common mistakes
- Letting your hips sag or pike during the press
- Flaring your elbows straight out to the sides
- Letting the straps wobble from a loose, unbraced body
