How to do it
Stand tall, then step one foot back into a reverse lunge and reach the opposite hand down to touch the floor at an angle in front of you. Drive through your front leg to stand back up, returning to a balanced upright position. Alternate sides each rep, hinging at the hips to reach the corner.
- 1Feel your glutes and quads drive you back up from the lunge
- 2Hinge at the hips to reach down rather than rounding your spine
- 3Keep your core engaged to stay balanced through the reach
Common mistakes
- Don't round your lower back as you reach the floor
- Avoid letting your front knee track past your toes
- Don't rush and lose your balance on the way down
