How to do it
Sit on the stationary bike with the seat set so your knees have a slight bend at the bottom of each stroke. Pedal at a steady, easy pace to keep your legs moving and your heart rate up for the set duration.
- 1Quads and hamstrings turning the pedals smoothly
- 2Steady, controlled breathing at an easy effort
- 3Relaxed upper body with light grip on the handles
Common mistakes
- Setting the seat too low and cramping your knees
- Rocking your hips side to side as you pedal
- Gripping the handles tightly or hunching your shoulders
Muscles worked
