How to do it

Sit in the 45-degree sled press and place the balls of your feet on the lower edge of the platform with heels hanging off. Keep your knees nearly straight and press the sled up by extending your ankles, then lower under control for a full stretch at the bottom.

  1. 1The burn in your calves as you press through the balls of your feet
  2. 2A full range, pushing as high as you can at the top
  3. 3Constant tension without locking your knees

Common mistakes

  • Bouncing at the bottom or dropping the weight
  • Letting your heels dip too far and straining the Achilles
