How to do it
Stand with your feet wide and shift your weight to one side, bending that knee while keeping the opposite leg straight. Sink your hips down to feel the stretch along the inner thigh of the straight leg, hold, then switch sides.
- 1Feel the stretch along the inner thigh of the straight leg
- 2Keep the straight leg's foot flat and toes forward
- 3Sit your hips back and down to deepen the stretch
Common mistakes
- Don't let the bent knee cave inward past your toes
- Avoid rounding your back as you sink down
