How to do it
Lie on your side with a foam roller under the back of your upper arm and the arm extended overhead. Slowly roll along the triceps, pausing on tight spots, then switch to the other arm.
- 1Feel the roller release tension in the triceps
- 2Pause on tender spots and let them soften
- 3Roll slowly between shoulder and elbow
Common mistakes
- Do not roll over the elbow or shoulder joint
- Avoid moving too fast over tight areas
- Do not tense the arm; let it relax
