How to do it
Wearing a weighted vest, set the TRX rings low and rest your feet elevated behind you while gripping a ring in each hand. Lower your chest between the rings in a decline position, then press back up while keeping the rings from drifting.
- 1The lower and middle chest driving against the added vest load
- 2The core and glutes locking the body into a straight decline line
- 3The shoulders steadying the unstable rings on every rep
Common mistakes
- Letting the hips sag or pike with the extra weight
- Allowing the rings to swing or splay outward
- Dropping the head; keep the neck neutral
Muscles worked
The ring weighted vest decline push-up mainly works the lower chest and mid chest, with the triceps, forearms, upper chest, upper abs, lower abs, and front delts assisting.
