How to do it
Lie on your back with both heels in the TRX cradles and lift your hips into a bridge so your body stays straight. Holding that hip height, bend your knees to draw your heels toward your glutes, then extend back out under control.
- 1Hamstrings pulling your heels in as the hips stay lifted
- 2Glutes holding the bridge steady the whole set
- 3Even tension through both legs on the strap
Common mistakes
- Letting your hips drop as you curl
- Yanking your heels in with momentum
- Arching your lower back to hold position
Muscles worked
The ring straight hip leg curl mainly works the hamstrings and glutes, with the lower abs, lower back, and calves assisting.
