How to do it
Lie on your back with one heel in a TRX cradle and a towel under the hips. Bridge the hips up, then curl that single heel toward your glute and extend it back out under control. Keep the opposite leg lifted throughout.
- 1The working hamstring contracting hard to curl the heel in
- 2The glute on the working side driving the hip up and holding it
- 3Level, square hips through every rep
Common mistakes
- Letting the hips drop or rotate toward the free leg
- Using momentum to swing the heel in
- Resting the free foot on the floor for support
Muscles worked
The ring single leg curl with towel mainly works the hamstrings and glutes, with the lower abs and obliques assisting.
