How to do it
Set up on your side with one forearm or hand on the floor and your top foot resting in a TRX cradle for support. Lift your hips so your body forms a straight line from head to heels and hold, keeping the side of your trunk braced.
- 1Obliques on the down side locking your hips up
- 2A long straight line from shoulder to ankle
- 3Steady tension as you fight the strap's instability
Common mistakes
- Letting your hips drop toward the floor
- Rotating your chest open or down
- Holding your breath instead of breathing steadily
Muscles worked
The ring side bridge mainly works the obliques and lower abs, with the lower back, upper abs, glutes, and side delts assisting.
