How to do it
Place your feet in the TRX foot cradles and start in a plank or push-up position with your hands on the floor. Brace your core and let your feet roll back to extend your body into a long line, then pull through your abs to return your hips and body to the start.
- 1Deep tension through your abs holding the torso tight
- 2The working core controlling the extension out and back
- 3Your hips and spine staying in one line, no sagging
Common mistakes
- Letting your lower back arch or hips drop as you extend
- Using momentum to yank yourself back in
- Going so far out that you lose core control
Muscles worked
The ring reverse ab rollout mainly works the upper abs and lower abs, with the lats, lower back, front delts, obliques, quads, glutes, and hamstrings assisting.
