How to do it

Start in a push-up position with both hands on the TRX handles set just off the floor. Lower your chest between the handles and press back up, then rotate your torso and reach one arm to the sky into a side plank. Return and alternate sides.

  1. 1Chest and triceps driving the press, then obliques bracing the rotation
  2. 2Shoulder blades controlling the wobble of the straps
  3. 3A tight straight body as you open into the side plank

Common mistakes

  • Letting your hips sag through the push-up
  • Rushing the rotation and losing the straight line
  • Flaring your elbows wide as you lower
