How to do it

Lie on your back with one heel in a TRX cradle and a towel under the hips for comfort. Bridge up, curl the single heel in, then resist as slowly as you can while that leg extends back out. Keep the free leg off the floor.

  1. 1Intense tension in the working hamstring on the slow extension
  2. 2The glute on the working side holding the hip level and high
  3. 3The hips staying square with no rotation toward the free leg

Common mistakes

  • Letting the working leg snap out instead of resisting
  • Dropping or twisting the hips toward the unloaded side
  • Using the free leg or the floor for help
