How to do it
Lie on your back with heels in the TRX cradles, a yoga block supporting your hips and a towel softening the contact. Curl both heels in, then resist as slowly as possible while the legs extend back out, fighting the eccentric the whole way.
- 1The hamstrings under tension as you fight the slow extension
- 2The glutes keeping the hips bridged high the entire set
- 3Maximum control on the lengthening phase
Common mistakes
- Letting the legs shoot out fast on the eccentric
- Dropping the hips toward the floor as you extend
- Hyperextending the lower back to cheat the curl back in
Muscles worked
