How to do it

Place an object or marker on the floor in front of you. Tap one toe lightly on top of it, then quickly switch and tap with the other foot, arcing your reaching foot over the top in a rainbow path. Keep a fast, light rhythm.

  1. 1Stay light and springy on the balls of your feet
  2. 2Feel your calves and quads working through the quick switches
  3. 3Keep your chest up and your core braced for balance

Common mistakes

  • Don't land flat-footed or stomp through each tap
  • Avoid hunching over to reach the marker
  • Don't let your rhythm break down as you speed up
