How to do it
Stand on the edge of a raised platform or use a donkey calf raise machine. Raise your heels as high as possible, then lower them below the platform level.
- 1Feel a deep contraction in your calves as you lift your heels while bent at the hips
- 2Keep your knees slightly bent and focus on the squeeze
- 3Lower slowly to maximize stretch at the bottom
Common mistakes
